Solid Edge Install Hangs On Removing Backup Files
Having trouble installing Solid Edge. To 'jam' after it removes backup files. Goes find but in the end Removing temporary files used just. Hello, I'm having diificulty installing Solid Edge v20 onto Windows 7. I'm simply unable to complete the installation as it hangs at the very end during the removal of backup files. It works fine on Windows XP, which is what it was originally desinged for, however when I try running it in Window 7 Windows XP SP2 mode (as recommended by 'trouble shooting') I get the problem. It hangs where it is removing backup files. You may want to reboot and restart Solid Edge to verify a valid install. SolidEdge on Windows 7.
Hallo all, after working well for a while my solid edge application got into a state, that it freezes in the process of opening and visualizing any.asm. At that time I can still access the main icon upper left in the program and choose 'end solid edge'.
But after issueing that command, the program answers 'solid edge doesn't function anymore'. I can then hit 'close program' and it shuts down. Tony Antonio Gamefarm.
This behaviour is found again and again. But after not using the computer for some hours, it works again for a short while. At the same time I can open and visualize any.par file without any problem.
