Sealey Mighty Mig 100 Manual
New to the forum so hullo everybody and great forum u got here. Ive been looking at this forum for years since doing welding and fabricating college courses and the NDT one many moons ago. My career route took me in a diffirent direction tho. Microsoft X86 Windows Xp Antivirus - By Kashperx. I do all the work on my cars if and when needed but the last few years I been caught out with cars requiring welding which usually cost me average bout £100 a shot. Ive got to the point now where Ive decided to buy my own. Mainly for light work.
Cars, possibly shelving and some thin flat bar / angle framework. There is no sense in me paying for welding anymore when I can weld myself. Also I have access to a garage/barn for power and dry working now which is another reason Ive decided to buy one. I was initially going to buy a TIG because of the better control of heat and weld puddle with car panels.
The downfall being always having to use 2 hands and access. So ive decided to buy a MIG for now. Im looking for something with a good low range for car repairs. 20/30 - 100/200. I seen this one for sale on ebay then I thought great price its new even get some wire with it aswell. But then I seen a video of the specs on youtube.
It states range 55A-100A. Shree Lipi Software more. Im guessing that it probably has a top range of say bout 90A but the minimum range of 55A really doesn't appeal to me. Do any of u have any idea if the 55A is a definite mnimum or basically a guide. Is it any use for car repairs? Personally I don't think it is unless u were doing short pulse welds to stop blow thru. I want to get a welder fit for the purpose I need it for tho. I would really appreciate some advice from you guys on this welder.
