Intel 6 Series C200 Driver
Dec 30, 2015 Running upgraded Windows 10 from windows 7. Chipset recently shows failure and diagnostics seems to indicate the need for a new driver. Unable to locate. Windows reports that it has prevented execution because the drivers known. Then I just deleted 2 devices Intel(R) 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family USB.
Hello, After upgrading from Windows 7 64x Pro on my Asus P8P67 Pro to Windows 10 64x Pro and booting after set up I lose all USB connections including USB mouse and keyboard. Hamster Heroes Setup. After plugging in PS2 Mouse and keyboard and taking a look at Device Manager shows there is an issue with this USB controller: Intel(R) 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller – 1C2D and 1C26 and USBxHCI compliant Host Controller. Windows reports that it has prevented execution because the drivers known have caused a problem in windows please obtain updated drivers from your vendors. Currently 20/08/15 neither Asus nor Intel has published updated driver for these devices. Is obtaining a new driver the only way to get Windows 10 working or is there more work going on with Windows 10 in the background that might resolve this problem? I’ve tried all the relevant fixes Iv found in MS communities but no joy.
