Game Fusion Studio
Just recently got on Steam since it was%66 off. From $100 to about $33 is a great deal! ) Anybody else have Fusion 2.5? If you don't know about Clickteam Fusion 2.5, it's basically like a more advanced.(Now that I have GameMaker Professional Edition, I know that's false.) Fusion 2.5 is the engine Scott Cawthon (Creator of Five Night's At Freddy's) who did indeed spend around $700 for the developer edition, android and IOS exporters, and probably a few more stuff.
The community of Clickteam is decent, the developers do contact users also. Some games on steam were also created in Clickteam Fusion 2.5 like The Escapists, Five Night's At Freddy's, which have both indeed made front page of the steam store, and. So far I've spent around 75 or so hours on it (according to Steam), so I've learned a how to do the basics of a lot.
I recreated PONG, and it was pretty fun doing. You can't build for Mac or Linux, but I believe they are planning on doing it for Fusion 3.0 But you can get the Flash exporter, and flash can be used on browsers. It definitely takes a while to get used to, it isn't that appealing to the eye at first, but after a while you might start to adapt to it, and love it more. It's definitely a good head start before programming. (I take this back too) ~ UPDATE 1: I'm now trying out game maker, one difference is game maker has less limitations, less complicated, and it's own scripting language language too. I'll post a comparison after I buy it.
Take a look at this -. I'm pretty sure that would take a long time to remake in Fusion since it's all just Drag and Drop. Once I finish playing around with game maker and after I buy it, I'll remove this thread and compare both. UPDATE 2: GameMaker: Studio definitely wins.
I've bought GameMaker: Studio Professional Edition on the website, and not only do I get the license key for the software, I get the steam key too, after waiting a painful 2 weeks. I've barely touched Javascript but I believe the syntax is the same as GML. It's not too different from C# for me, so that's great also.
GameMaker made things easier for me, the only hassles are the editors (Script editors, Room Editors, Image Editors). It's said that the developers have to rewrite the whole software again to fix the editors. Not sure when they will do it. The only up side about Fusion is you can do more application stuff but that's also a downside since it's mostly just Windows controls and stuff which looks unappealing. Still have lots to learn anyways.

Never expected it to get this far. I have been making this game for exactly one year ever since I've managed to buy the software. It is a side-scrolling shooter similar to both the Metal Slug and Halo series.
Here are some screenshots of the current build Alpha Main Menu. I have added some things in the settings menu to enhance gameplay for different people. Kon Boot [falconfour] - 2010kaiser. Singleplayer button currently has Load Game and New Game options. The current test room for the game. A variety of weapons and abilities are scattered around the room, as well as several NPCs.
